Kindness Ripples…
Kindness Ripples...
I’ve seen it firsthand—as a single dad raising two incredible kids, one with classic autism and one navigating anxiety.
My son, Dylan, is 15 and has autism that affects every part of our daily life. He thrives on visual schedules, structured routines, and a calm rhythm to his day. Words are hard for him, but his presence speaks volumes. My daughter, Abby, is 18 and quietly courageous. She feels the world deeply and moves through it with care. Together, they’ve taught me more about patience, love, and resilience than any parenting book ever could.
But here’s the truth: it’s not always easy. Between meltdowns, food restrictions, IEP meetings, and late-night worry, our world can feel isolating. And like many families in similar shoes, I don’t always know how to ask for help.
That’s why I started Be Ausome.
I’ve built free tools that make hard moments easier—and faster:
- Autism Parent Support — Calm and practical—built by a parent for parents of autistic kids. Make one-page routines, calming scripts, and school-ready notes in plain language—no jargon, no judgment. A place to get ideas, breathe, and feel less alone—ready in minutes.
- Autism Supporter Guide — For friends, coworkers, neighbors, and teachers who want to help but aren’t sure how. Get real-life insight, simple phrases, and practical ways to support without adding stress. One click can start a ripple of understanding.
If you’ve ever wondered how to support a neighbor who seems overwhelmed, a teacher who’s giving their all, or a parent who never asks for help—I’d love for you to follow along on social media. That’s where I share honest glimpses into our world, helpful ways to show up, and quiet reminders that your support matters more than you know.
You don’t need a degree or diagnosis to make a difference.
Just a kind heart. A little understanding. And maybe a casserole.
Be Ausome is here to help you do just that.
