Kindness Ripples
Why I Built Be Ausome
I’ve seen it firsthand as a single dad raising two incredible kids: one with classic autism, and one navigating anxiety.
My son, Dylan, is 15. He thrives on visual schedules, structured routines, and a calm rhythm to his day. Words are hard for him, but his presence speaks volumes. My daughter, Abby, is 18 and quietly courageous. She feels the world deeply and moves through it with care. Together, they’ve taught me more about patience, love, and resilience than any parenting book ever could.
But the hard parts are real. Between meltdowns, food restrictions, IEP meetings, and late-night worry, our world can feel isolating. And like many families in similar shoes, I don’t always know how to ask for help.
That’s why I started Be Ausome.
Be Ausome is a growing set of free tools for parents like me. You type what’s happening, like tomorrow’s morning or the dentist visit, and you get back a clean, calm, printable visual support in under a minute. No signup. No account. Nothing of your child’s is stored anywhere.
I’ve made a hundred of these for Dylan over the years. If they save one other parent a rough morning, they’ve done their job.
If tomorrow morning could use a little help, start here.
